so manch ewige Nacht
denk ich an dich
so manche Nacht
brennt mir ein Licht

doch ist es meine Kerze
und Flamme meiner Seele
aus ewig dunkler Stehle
funkelnder Liebe Sterne

so manche Nacht
bin ich bloß dein
du weißt es nicht - oh nein
du bist die Nacht... allein

und wenn's am Öhrchen zieht
erschrecke nicht und träume
draußen's kleine Nachtwindlied
haucht deinen Namen

in die Kronen
rauschender Bäume
